Personality: Ryu tends to be more on the quiet side letting her actions speak for her rather than words. So many assume she is just another mindless hollow. Under her mask, however, hides a strong willed personality willing to give her life for her beliefs. She has a strong sense of loyalty to her kind and has vowed to only eat hollows that are mindless and incapable of further evolution or in self-defence if there is no other option. She wants to protect and make a paradise of their desert home. This often leads her to not caring for herself as much as she should leaving her more hungry or injured then your average hollow. She also loves art giving her a keener eye for details.

Appearance

Hollow: Ryu is what people would describe as a sharkatrice. Part shark part cockatrice. She mainly looks more shark than cockatrice. She has a shark shaped head but instead of rows of deathly teeth, she has a beak. She has bright orange feathers covering her neck, chest and hind legs. Her scales are a bright white to blend in with the sands of HM but green flecks go along her back. She has front fins of a shark with a spike on each fin and the hind legs of a chicken. Her eyes are a bright purple. Her hollow whole is hidden under her chest feathers. She is around the size of a farm raised chicken.


Arrancar: As an Arrancar Ryu stands at a total of 5 ft and 2 inches. She has a very feminine figure with thick thighs and curvy body but a small bust size (pear shaped body type). Her hair resembles her feathers with a bright orange hue in a maned type of hair style. She has fair skin and purple eyes. Her hollow hole is located between her collar bone and breasts. Her mask resembles those used at a masquerade ball and she normally wears clothes to match the style. Her zanpakto is a blue/green knife with a white handle.

Reiatsu: Ryu's spirit energy is an Aqua blue color with the faint shapes of swimming sharks around the outer edges. When a person is overpowered by the pressure it might give the feeling of drowning.

Bio: As a human Ryu is what most people would call a yandere. She had a fierce love and devotion of her lover and would often resort to violence to protect him. Often ending up with her receiving harsh words from him but she never stopped loving him. She died protecting him from getting run over by an oncoming truck. Her abnormal protective nature led her to not passing on. When she became a hollow instead of eating her lover like most would do she stayed by his side until he suffered his natural death guarding him against other hungry hollows.
Ryu was lost without her lover to protect and for months searched for his soul in the case by some means he has also become a hollow but to no avail. she had given up hope and she starved. She had lost the one thing that made her feel alive. She wanted only to be with him again until one faithful day when she stumbled upon a small weak hollow. At first, she ignored the small insect like creature but as she did her daily searched the small hollow would follow. She knew it wasn't her lover yet she felt a connection with it. later she came to realize it was her dead child that had died with her. She was pregnant with her lovers' child when she died but never thought that only a 4-month-old baby could become a hollow. She had found a new being to protect. But not all hollows had minds and this creature was one of them. It only followed her out of instinct and not of love. Whenever she came upon a soul to eat it would always be right there to take her kill like a parasite. The only thing it knew was food no emotions and no complex thought. She couldn't bare to see her child this way alive but not living so she did the only thing she knew she ate him.Shedding her final tears she vowed to protect her new people from such mindless fates.

Hollow powers:

1 Slip coat: Ryu's skin secretes a slimy water-based liquid that is very slippery. This allows her to "swim" on surfaces other than water including sand, dirt, and hard smooth surfaces. She can also use this to escape if someone is holding her unless the person has a very strong grip or is using spirit energy/magic. (think of a snail basically but faster)

2 Poison Bubbles: Ryu can create bubbles filled with poison from her mouth. She can create up to 5 bubbles a day before having to rest and replenish her poison glands. (bubbles do not stack)  They float slowly but stick to and melt anything they touch.

3 Steel feathers: Can pluck some of her feathers from her chest or hind legs and harden them with spirit energy and then fling them like fast projectiles (kinda like kunai). Feathers take about a 2 to 3 rp days to grow back.

4 Stone Gaze: Ryu stares into the eyes of a foe and can trap them in place petrifying them. The gaze only works on those of a lower spiritual energy than her own. petrification lasts only for 5-20 minutes depending on how long the person stares back.
5 Boiling torrent: Ryu spews hot water out of her mouth that can cause burns. As the water evaporates it creates steam which she can use as cover for a quick escape.

Resurreccion powers:  

1 Poison cero: a green cero that has been infused with her poison. Instead of instant damage, it has a damage over time effect making the person hit by it sick within 2 mins or so. Outwardly it looks like it did no harm to a person hit by it. It's much less stronger than a normal cero but much faster.

2 Multiply: Ryu can multiply or split her zanpakto (a knife) into 5 Kuni which she can then throw. She must keep at least one for her knife to reform in her hand so this only allows her to throw 4 of the 5 kuni without risking being unarmed.

3 Stone Gaze (upgrade): Same as stone gaze but lasts from 10-40 minutes depending on how long she stares.

4 Boiling wave: Ryu swings her knife releasing a wave of boiling hot water leaving burns along its path. As the water evaporates it creates steam. Has a longer and wider range than Boiling torrent.
