Regashi stood there after successfully delivering his last ditch attack, putting everything he could manage into this attack. As his feet struck Chris and slammed with the full force of his movement, but part of him held back the strength of the attack to avoid critical harm. The moment he connected with the attack, he felt the pressure for the technique weighing on his legs as his muscles started to strain.

He did his best to move off of Chris, stumbling with each step, and feeling the fatigue from the fight and the drain of his techniques. Regashi fell over and started to cough up blood and felt a challenge to gather himself but a sense of joy when he heard the announcer claim him victorious.

That was all he needed as he fell over completely, his eyes returned to a softer status, his body no longer radiating heat, the air no longer fueled by the electricity and the heat of the two of them. "He... Held back..."

For a moment Ikazuchi found himself engrossed in the details of the fight, doing his best to catch each little movement and compare how others fought to how he would fight. It was obvious that he would be lacking in battle due to the weapon restrictions, however he would make up for his lack of martial techniques with the energy he possesses. Watching the current two fighters, Ikazuchi even felt some confidence in facing the two. That confidence remained for only a short while before someone appeared near him that forced him to doubt himself.

It was obvious that his opponent was the one who greeted him from only a few seats away as there wasn’t anyone else to balance the brackets otherwise. The man was dressed in a loose fitting black robe that seemed completely outdated by the standards he had seen outside the stadium, however it was also in good condition. What stood out the most to the man happened to be the katana that the man had with him. As a fellow swordsman, he naturally felt warmer to another after having spent most of his life with a sword in hand whether it was wielding one or crafting one.

What affected his confidence was the simple fact that even staring directly at the man he felt as if the man wasn’t there. There wasn’t a single reason to feel fear, yet every instinct honed through years of training and experience screamed that the man was dangerous. After the spike in strength that left him feeling as though his strength more than doubled he was immediately given a wake up call. As he received the common greeting among martial artists Ikazuchi returned it with his open left palm covering his right fist.

“I’m Ikazuchi Kumo, and you’re welcome to call me by whichever you prefer. As for being late, there isn’t much to worry about. If I’m not wrong, I will be your opponent in the upcoming match.” For a moment he looked away from the new arrival, and towards the ongoing match. “And it seems that match will be taking place very soon.”

Shortly after he spoke to Tenjinsai the announcer’s voice echoed throughout making everyone aware that the victor was the shinobi named Regasi Hokori. “Now, would the fighters for the second match, Ikazuchi Kumo and Tenjinsai Bushinji, please proceed to the arena!”

“It seems that if we wish to talk more it will have to wait until after our match. I wish we could compete in swordsmanship, however the rules won’t allow it. Anyways, Tenjinsai I look forward to our match and I hope that you will take it easy on me.” After speaking Ikazuchi proceeded down to the arena which was now empty after the previous contestants were removed. Once his opponent arrived, it would be time for the match to begin.

Budokai Tournament 11/10/2018 - Page 3 Empty Re: Budokai Tournament 11/10/2018

Post by Tenjinsai Bushinji Tue Nov 20, 2018 11:39 pm

Tenjinsai listened closely as the man who was now confirmed to be his opponent introduced himself. He was a young man, clearly human, that went by the name Ikazuchi Kumo. He, along with the other contestants here, would all be individuals to remember. Humans with such powers, at least to this extent, were rare to say the least. Tenjinsai would now have the opportunity to actually see first hand how strong these men were and to what extent they could use these powers. His opportunity to see would come sooner then he thought as currently ongoing match came to an end. The victor was announced, someone by the name of Regashi Hokori, the loser receiving no mention. It was time then it seemed, as Kumo stood and made his way toward the entrance of the ring. He spoke briefly, sharing some thoughts and desires, as well as conveying the hope of Tenjinsai taking it easy.

Perhaps Tenjinsai's attire, that was unusual to this world, gave off an air of imposition. It was either that, or this young man had somehow discerned precisely how strong Tenjinsai truly was. It was hard to believe that they would be able to sense the depths of his reiryoku, especially while it was suppressed as it was. If that was in fact the case, it would warrant a much deeper look into this Ikazuchi Kumo. For now, the best thing to do was to feign ignorance, not giving off any signs of something more. Standing slowly, Tenjinsai followed closely behind Kumo, making his way toward the arena. "Let us fight with honor, observe humility in victory, and acquire wisdom in defeat." Tenjinsai took up his position opposite Kumo in the arena, standing at ease as he eyed his young opponent. He shifted his right leg back slightly, widening his stance as he prepared for battle.

His right arm stretched out, just shy of the end of his reach, in an open hand. The left hand hung low, hovering near the hilt of his zanpaktou, ready to make use of its power if and when the time came. Though he did indeed give his word not to use his blade in battle, he need not draw it to call upon its power. That was the true intention of bringing it with him should those powers be needed. For now though he would observe and learn, seeing the extent of this young mans strength. "I would permit you the first move my friend. Whenever you are ready."

Budokai Tournament 11/10/2018 - Page 3 Empty Re: Budokai Tournament 11/10/2018

Post by ChaosKaiz Wed Nov 21, 2018 5:00 am

Toku was only slightly conscious when a collective of individuals tasked with assisting in the tournament entered the arena and cleared both he and Chris from the stage to prepare for the following battle to take place. Each of them were taken to the medical tent to be taken care of and the convenience of the healing tent was the multiple healing methods that were available as Toku was checked for what injuries were sustained and the degree for each one.

The medical attendants started to perform a head to toe check, but it would not take much effort or time to determine that most of the injuries were located in his legs from the final stages of the fight and his midsection from the tackle that came from Chris. The fight seemed to have truly taken its toll on his body leaving one to wonder how Chris was holding up.

After determining the state of his body, the medical attendant determined that just healing skills were not enough to prepare him for the next round and decided to hand him a small green bean. More so they took assisted his weakened body in consuming the small bean that he had trouble getting enough energy to focus and swallow but he was eventually successful in his attempt.

He could not imagine what a small bean was supposed to accomplish with his body so drained and beaten, but in the time it took to complete that thought the pain that he was suffering from faded away and it felt as if he just woke from a full rest. The sensation of his chakra flowing through his system at full burst could be felt that it cause a temporary surge of his power. He had never heard of such a miracle healing process that could work so fast and so efficiently.

Quickly his gaze looked over at Chris who was on another table being tended to, but it appears they decided to use some other form of healing for the time being. Toku considered they were potentially waiting to see if they will need to provide it to him and allowing their medical specialists to see if they can handle the injuries. This made sense since all of the damage that was done was below the surface to the flow of energy and a medical specialist who has at least the shallow knowledge of this energy would be able to reestablish the flow.

For a moment, Toku considered heading over to Chris and helping him recover but noticed immediately that people were not too keen on the idea of someone not on staff to perform any medical assistance and especially more so a combatant doing so on their previous opponent. So he decided to immediately let it go and make his way out of the tent and head over to the waiting area for fighters so that he could prepare for the next round. Though as he made his way, he decided that he would take a step out to get some fresh air and relax once more.

As much fun as the battle was with Chris, and the supposed amazing rewards that were going to be provided, there was a lack of motivation to continue participating. Sozo had pushed harder than ever to have him enter to keep him entertained, or at least focused, on something at all longer than a few minutes. When he questioned why she would not sign up herself, or forces the others to sign up, “Because you are the Taijutsu Specialist on the Team so what is the point if you can take the tournament yourself.” She spoke with such pride in knowing his ability to fight hand to hand and her apparent genius in using him to win the tournament.

"Sensei... Can you talk some sense into her?" Toku had truly hoped that Sensei would have been some help and speak up on the fact that Sozo just went ahead and signed him up without his consent, but all he could manage was shrugs and Debu deciding to side with Sozo left Toku without a ground to stand upon for support against this. "Next time I am invited for team bonding, I am going to just stay home."

With little he could do about it, he was a member of the tournament and made it through the first round of it even though so much of him wanted to just tap out at the sound of the first bell. "Besides... I have focused my studies in being an efficient medical ninja and the fact that I was selected because of having a secondary classification of a Taijutsu Specialist is ridiculous." He would scoff at the entire concept, "She relies way too much on her data books..." This was fact he has had to deal with in the team, with Sozo being the self-proclaimed leader of the team because of her knowledge on their 'statistics' as well as their abilities and skills, even going as far as to classify each of these features with numbers. She has a chart with tiers that determines how effective such abilities, skills, or 'stats' are. "Just ridiculous."

Post by Kumo Thu Nov 22, 2018 7:46 pm

“I have to wonder where your from to be so formal at such a young age. But I agree, let’s have an enjoyable and fulfilling fight. As for that first move, I will happily accept it.” Ikazuchi couldn’t see through his opponent’s strength, however he knew that in a serious fight he wouldn’t be a match for the man. It seemed that his opponent didn’t intend to go full force, however he would naturally be wary of any sudden changes against an opponent that couldn’t be seen through.

Ever since his arrival here he had moved forward and acted in a much more relaxed manner, however after two years of tension due to pursuit he could easily enter a state of high alert. Even against someone he was confident in defeating he would act calmly and steadily. Before making any rash move he observed the stance of Tenjinsai. At a glance he could feel his opponents experience with a sword, as well as his overall combat experience. The simple positioning of the body would allow him to react to most attacks in a easy and timely manner.

“You really don’t make this easy.” He couldn’t help speaking to his opponent as he properly placed the sword that had never left his hand into the leather belt he had to hold it on the right side of his hip. He had no intention of wielding his sword, however he couldn’t feel comfortable without it at his side. With one deep breath he proceeded to dash straight towards his opponent.

WIth his speed it only took a couple of seconds at most to cross the distance between the two. Upon arrival directly in front of his opponent he took note of the stance once more and planted his right foot forward in a stance reminiscent of a southpaw boxer relying on the momentum of his dash to send forward a strong straight punch with his left fist. As he sent his fist forward someone observant would notice his attempts to utilize his body and attack properly. At the same time his right hand had been brought close to his body and raised just slightly below his nose.

He didn’t hesitate for a moment to put the effort into this strike to produce a passable strike, however his intentions differed greatly. As his strike approached his opponent’s face he unleashed the brightest flash of lightning that he possibly could as he stopped his fist and continued turning his hip to unleash a low kick augmented with energy at his opponent’s knee. At the same time his right hand moved down and pressed against the end of his sword’s handle and made it swing out towards his right as a feint for if his opponent’s eyesight was hindered by the flash. Ikazuchi’s eyes and body had been adjusted to the various aspects of lightning, including the bright flash it can produce, allowing him to see through the brightness.

He couldn’t predict his opponent’s actions, however whether he landed his strike or not he would stop his momentum once more having moved his left side to lead and essentially reversed his stance he moved his left foot a half step forward with his left hand raised similar to a guard. His stance was now more similar to a horse stance providing a strong foundation for him to strike. He hoped to place his shoulder near his opponent’s chest and fist under his chin. His right hand crossed his body to be in a position that would allow him to block his opponent’s left hand and from the corner of his eyes he could see his opponent’s right hand. He hoped that with the positioning of his legs he could hinder his opponent’s potential for kicking. The final strike which he had to offer was one swift uppercut which relied on several muscles in his body, but drew the majority of the power from the lightning energy that flows through his body and shrouded his fist.

Budokai Tournament 11/10/2018 - Page 3 Empty Re: Budokai Tournament 11/10/2018

Post by Tenjinsai Bushinji Fri Nov 23, 2018 1:34 pm

Tenjinsai could not help but smile briefly at his opponents reply to the few words he spoke before battle. His appearance betrayed who he truly was and left only the surface to be observed. "Perhaps after our battle I can fulfill some of those curiosities." Now though was the time for battle and trivialities would be dispensed with. This of course would be different from the combat Tenjinsai typically engaged in. They were not here to kill one another, simply to attempt besting the other in a competition of skill. If anything, this reminded him of when he was younger, training with his siblings at the manor; Before the illusion of a happy life came crashing down around him. All things seemed to remind him of some aspect of his life. The negatives of living for such a span it seemed. Regardless, none of his memories were relevant at this time, only his experience.

The battle had begun, Kumo opening up their duel with what appeared to be a simple punch from his left aimed directly to Tenjinsai's face. Though no master of Hakuda, deterring such an attack was well within the confines of his abilities. His right arm moved ever so slightly, reaching forward as his hand swatted down in a deft maneuver. The aim would be to use as little energy and movement as possible to redirect the strike harmlessly away. This would only partially succeed though as the true intent of this attack became apparent. From Kumo's striking hand a flash of light was emitted, radiating brightly between them. Had the hand still been directly in front of his face he would have certainly been blinded for a moment. Having parried the strike away reduced the effectiveness of this spark, decreasing the vision in Tenjinsai's left eye but leaving his right nearly clear.

The true offense of his opponent would then be revealed; Kumo following through with his punch with a low aimed kick, his knee being the target. Tenjinsai quickly formulated a response, though one he knew would end up harming him as well. It would, ideally, have the most favorable outcome for him, and he had been hit by much harder in the past. Pivoting on his right foot and lifting his left leg, Tenjinsai turned to his left, making it so the kick would now strike the back of his lower thigh as opposed to the side of his knee. He would take the hit in full, wincing and gritting his teeth as it made contact. As it did so, he allowed his leg to bend, falling backwards and attempting to trap his opponents leg underneath his own. He would follow this up by quickly placing his left leg beneath Kumo's, effectively creating a leg lock to prevent movement.

The ideal outcome would be for he and his opponent to be on the ground, within easy striking distance of Tenjinsai's kidou. With their momentum from the punch and kick carrying them a single direction, then brought to a sudden halt with the leg lock, it would be a simple feat to knock them down with their center of gravity being compromised. From there Tenjinsai could reach out with his right arm, placing it on Kumo's knee and utter a single incantation. "Hadou no Ichi, Sho." A blast of near translucent force would erupt from Tenjinsai's hand and push down into his opponent's knee. At the very least, it would damage the ligaments and lock up the joint, preventing any meaningful movement until treated. Worst case scenario, the blast could fracture the bones from such close range and with little mobility for recoil.

Very rarely will a person’s intentions be realized, in this case Ikazuchi experienced that first hand. No matter how well thought out his actions were, in the end actions outside his expectations took place. Rather than avoid the kick entirely, his opponent had adjusted where it would land causing it to strike the back of his thigh. Almost instantly he found himself trapped in a leg lock. His balance was maintained on his right foot, and with his left foot now captured he was forced to lose control and fall with his opponent towards the ground.

Ikazuchi lacked confidence to take the battle to the ground, however he was calm under pressure and made the split second decision to pause the descent of his body by taking his right hand and manipulating his sword hanging at his right side to have the end of the scabbard press onto the ground. At the same time if one focused they would see lightning energy flowing from his hand, down the sword and snaking upward from below him in that moment to target his opponent’s hip closest to Ikazuchi.

He launched an attack from a difficult angle in that split second, however he wouldn’t stop there. As the lightning snaked below him toward Tenjinsai, he twisted his upper body to the left and used a lightning clad right foot to kick off of the ground with the last bit of force he could muster. His leg that was captured forcefully turned in the leg lock causing friction on his shin and calf before stopping after turning more than ninety degrees. His right leg maintained most of it’s momentum as it transitioned into a knee clad in lightning towards his opponent’s stomach. The goal was to strike the solar plexus, however the situation didn’t allow much time to aim.

With his new positioning, he was able to place his left hand on the ground mid-fall while also watching Tenjinsai’s actions. The man seemed to be returning the favor and was intending to place his hand on Ikazuchi’s left knee with his right hand. He couldn’t know what the intentions were, however he was sure that his opponent wouldn’t simply caress his knee during battle.

He couldn’t move away due to the leg lock, and even if he could he wouldn’t do so as it would waste his strikes. He wasn’t aware of his opponent’s strength, however he could only gamble at this time. From his left knee he gathered energy in preparation for the contact to counter with the force of his lightning no matter what his opponent’s action was. At the same time, almost simultaneously, he sent out his right fist towards his opponent’s chin clad in lightning using the planted right hand as leverage. Even if he truly did sacrifice his knee, he believed that it would be worth it to strike at a weak point which could render his opponent unconscious.

OOC: So, I assumed that the way we were falling was towards my character’s left. The actions taken were a combo of the dragon slayer’s ability to emit their element from their body and the energy manipulation skill.

There were a total of 3 strikes and 1 defense in this post. Each strike basically follows one right after the other with the first being the lightning strike aimed at your hip, second being the knee, and third being the fist. Among the three, the lightning bolt and the knee would occur almost simultaneously while the fist would follow shortly after. I didn’t proceed and react directly to your sho to leave room to react to those movements however in that moment he would use a burst of lightning to weaken the force (61-41=20) and take that with the stamina he has. This is just to let you continue the flow of your post.

I also understand that I have taken many more actions and will be keeping that in mind going forward. Just let me know if there is something you feel needs addressing.

Post by Tenjinsai Bushinji Mon Nov 26, 2018 6:08 pm

Though the battle had just started, from Tenjinsai's perspective it seemed as though it was already about to end. Once he struck the blow on his opponent's knee that would have been enough to call it. They could of course continue on, but with a leg crippled it would be childs play. Things would not go as swimmingly as Tenjinsai hoped they would though. As soon as he had gotten Kumo into the leg locked and prepared to strike his knee, a counter attack would begin. His opponent began to shift, twisting himself to the left attempting to drive a knee down into Tenjinsai's chest. Simultaneously, the sound of lightning crackled from beyond his view; until the surge of lightning jolted out along the ground toward him. There was only a moment to react, and a critical choice had to be made. Tenjinsai could continue his attack, striking Kumo's knee and wither the blows, or abandon the lock and save himself.

He had now doubt in his mind he could withstand the strikes, but for the exchange given, it may not be worth it. It seemed best to abandon the current course of action, save himself some pain, and formulate another approach. Tenjinsai quickly rolled to his left side, narrowly avoiding the knee that came crashing into the ground behind him. That was one down, but the lightning was still lurching toward him, getting ever closer as every moment passed. Sliding his left leg out from under Kumo, Tenjinsai continued rolling off to the side, gaining distance from the young combatant. Propping himself up he stood quickly to his feet just in time to see the lightning fizzle out and a punch that would have knocked him square in the face. 'Not just strong, but trained as well. Interesting...' It would take more then a few simple maneuvers to take down his opponent it seemed.

Kumo had seemed fairly adept at close quarters fighting, but it seemed energy was his strong suit. Between the two of them Tenjinsai could guess he was stronger physically; But it did not matter when dealing with, what appeared to be, spiritual abilities. Perhaps maintaining his distance would be the best bet, using kidou and speed to his advantage. Raising his right arm, Tenjinsai quicky aimed a blast toward the ground where he himself once lay. "Hadou no Ichi, Sho." The translucent wave of energy struck the ground, creating an eruption of debris and dust as a portion of the arena floor was pulverized. It was a smoke screen that he intended to use to its fullest. Raising his right arm slightly higher, a light yellow orb would grow in the palm of his hand, rapidly reaching its full size and ready to fire. Once prepared, the orb rippled out from his hand in a streaking yellow blast that rocketed toward Kumo.

He would utter no incantation or words this time, truly trying to hide his attack from the enemy. Why give off a verbal cue that he was doing something when it would only help his foe. Ideally now the smokescreen would hopefully give enough of a gap in reaction that the blast would hit home. Only time would tell though what the outcome here would be. For now, Tenjinsai took a few steps back, gaining distance himself from the cloud so as to not be taken advantage of by his own tactics.

OOC: My apologies for the late response, things have been a bit hectic for me. Moving forward things should be alright, but I will let you know if I will be preoccupied again.

As far as the actions, it is all within regulation. You are allowed 3 attacks, that is really the only limiter.

“How scary...” Ikazuchi couldn’t help but speak to himself in a low tone as his opponent quickly slipped away. He was forced to finish his combo despite the quick escape of his target. Immediately after finishing his strikes he quickly rose to his feet in preparation for the counter-attack. It was at that moment that he heard the voice of his opponent. It was a strange line that he didn’t quite catch at that moment, however, the illusory force that appeared only moments after was likely to be linked to it. His best guess was that it was an incantation of some sort.

The target of the force wasn’t him, but the spot which the two of them had just separated from. The result was a large dust cloud appearing, as well as some stray fragments of stone which grazed him causing some minor cuts. As the cloud of dust started to spread Ikazuchi decided to act with his full strength. His muscles swelled ever so slightly at that moment, while some of his features that previously changed became more apparent. At the same time golden lightning energy wrapped around his body and affected the air around him to scatter the dust almost as quickly as it appeared. Despite the visibility not having returned entirely to normal, Ikazuchi could make out a clear golden glow just as it started to charge towards him.

It was painfully obvious that he couldn’t dodge to the side at this distance, however, if he assumed that the attack that Tenjinsai used would have a roughly equivalent force to the one which created a smoke screen then it would be possible to forcefully receive it. With a quick decision, Ikazuchi changed his stance by sliding his left foot back to brace for the impact. Both legs were strengthened by energy to give him enough strength while on his hands there was visible energy gathered on each one. Right as the attack arrived in front of him he pushed his hands forward, essentially catching it. This caused the ground to crack, as well as force him back a few inches. He could feel the heat radiating off of the attack however, he continued to push back until he could finally force his hands upward causing the attack to change direction straight into the sky.

Right as the attack left his hands he managed to attach enough of his own energy to it for an attack of his own. His opponent had moved a few more steps back, however that could only take him closer to the edge of the arena as they were near the center. Almost immediately after receiving his opponent’s attack Ikazuchi charged over once more. He wasn’t keen on letting him remain at a distance after receiving such an attack. Ikazuchi basically had to consume twice as much energy to overcome that singular attack. If he continued to have several more exchanges in that way, even if he wanted to continue he wouldn’t have the strength left to do so.

Only a few of steps away from his opponent now, Ikazuchi deeply inhaled and exhaled. At this moment he was putting on display the signature move that all Dragon Slayers know, The Dragon’s Roar. A large beam of lightning appeared originating from his mouth while simultaneously controlling the energy hiding in the golden light of his enemy’s attack to separate into a lightning strike from an above angle before the attack Tenjinsai used could be detonated. He hoped that the light produced from both of their attacks would be enough to mask his second attack however, he couldn’t be sure. Either way, he was confident that his opponent would only be able to dodge to the sides or forcefully receive the two attacks. Unfortunately, it was only after launching the two that he thought about the audience members behind his opponent, so he couldn’t be sure as to what actions would be taken. All he could do now was to pay attention to the sides and see what may happen.

WC - 677

OOC: I was hoping to not use my release stuff yet, however it only felt right to do so. As for the attack itself, I understood it as being an orb even after you attacked with it so I treated it as such. Also, the roar is a basic technique that all Slayers know. This was something decided on before I became a mod, so I hope you don’t mind me using it.

From beyond the smokescreen Tenjinsai observed the faint glowing light that was his attack. It had seemed to stop its advance, holding position but not erupting as it would normally have. The area began to clear as a burst of energy flooded through the area appearing nearly the same color as the attack that had just been launched. Tenjinsai set his eyes upon Kumo, the young man holding his attack back as his body was radiating a wild, sparking, yellow energy. 'It must be the same lightning that he had exhibited before. It appears his true powers are coming to the surface. Just as that thought passed through his mind, Kumo thrust the hadou high up into the air, a light trail of yellow energy and lightning following it ever so slightly. Tenjinsai could only raise an eyebrow as he smiled slightly. 'Impressive.' Turning his eyes back down to Kumo, it was clear that their true battle was just now getting started.

His opponents mouth opened wide, a yellow orb eminating from deep in their throat bursting forward and erupting in a beam of lightning. In all of his observations and curiosities, Tenjinsai nearly forgot that he was still in a battle. Now there was a serious problem on his hands, one that he could formulate several response to. Dodging was always a possibility, a quick lunge to the left or right would put him safely away from the dangerous end of the beam. Going upward was looking good as well, getting above it and possibly having a better vantage point on attacking his opponent from too. What Tenjinsai would settle on though, was something completely out of the ordinary, perhaps even slightly crazy. Taking a step forward, Tenjinsai lunged forward directly toward the beam that was heading towards him. His left hand dropped low, hanging at his side as a blue orb of energy began to gather in his palm.

His movements would have to be quick and precise or it would be his loss here to be certain. The gap between himself and the beam closed rapidly, moments passing as his window became smaller and smaller. 'Not yet....not yet....now!!' Only moments away from striking him, Tenjinsai jerked his left arm forward, shoving the orb he had gathered in his hand directly into the oncoming beam. As he did so, the orb expanded exponentially, turning into a large blue beam that began to combat that which his enemy had created. "Hadou no Nanajuu San, Soren Soukatsui!!" Tenjinsai bolstered himself with his left leg as he fought with the force of the colliding energy beams. The moments passed on as he gritted his teeth, bolstering his left arm with his right. Tenjinsai released his reiatsu in earnest as he fought on, the weight of his strength becoming more apparent as the beam was slowly pushed back toward his enemy.

"Grrrraaaaaaaagghhhh!!!" Tenjinsai roared loudly as he pumped his reiryoku into the attack, giving the last oomph to reject the strength of his enemies attack and turning the tides in the direction that said tides had once come from. As this all happened, Tenjinsai had failed to notice what had come from up above, slamming down into the ground behind him where he had stood before charging into the attack. It was energy, perhaps some sort of residual in what Kumo had used to protect himself from Tenjinsai previous attack. When it had struck the ground a portion of the arena had been destroyed, bits of debris and dust scattered through the area. Several had managed to strike him, leaving a few small cuts across his back and shoulders. 'It seems I was closer to danger then I had thought.'

OOC: It's primarily correct. The Oukasen is more like a horiztonal wave or streak, but it would be handled the same way if one was to attempt doing what you did. As far as the roar, I don't have a problem with anything providing its listed in the content. Also, I wasn't sure if the roar itself was a beam projectile that is fired and stops emanating or if it is continuously from your mouth. I treated it mostly as the latter, though the chain of events would still basically play out the same either way.
