Home at last: The General's Daughter returns!

Nanaomi took a step forward, her tiredness washed away as a soft sun shower started to pour over the area. The little droplets seemingly washing away her previous thoughts into the forming pools below her feet. A soft smile would cross her lips as Cador would float from the sky only to land feet from her body. A gentle nod would be all the interaction they both needed as Nanaomi knew, no, she could feel, what was on the horizon. She could feel the air beginning to stiffen with war. The thick soup like feeling permeated across the camp as the battalion geared up for war. The woman's foot steps started slow almost, undesired. Yet as every step was taken they seemed to quicken. Not just, quicken, however. They would get deeper and deeper until the woman found herself in a full fledged run. The cracking smile across her face as her destination was now imprinted upon her mind. She knew where she wanted to go and what it meant. Nanaomi could only hope that Luxanna would stay close with the Battalion as she predicted the fight to be grueling. The last thing she wanted on her mind was to worry about a child on top of her thousands of warriors. Minutes would fade to hours as the women all ran to their goal, the supply center for the enemy in this area. A large target to hit for sure. If they were successful it could spell the end of the conflict in this area. If the fighting could turn to Cador's side even slightly then the war could still be won. She wasn't expecting a miracle, but she was hoping for one. Or, at least, for the site to be undefended. The likelihood of that was extremely low but hope often had a way of surprising us, right? Nanaomi's mind started to fade into prodding and poking her body. She attempted to gauge her abilities and what she was capable of. If she was to fight anyone of equal strength to herself than she'd need to actually know her limits and how to avoid or surpass them. The daylight hours slowly faded to night and before long Nanaomi found herself on the edge of the cliff overlooking the supply depot. Slowly and quietly her warriors slowed to a stop behind her. This would be it, the sight of a major battle. Rather, the first true engagement of the civil war. She took this moment to get a lay of the land.

It appeared, this area was an old industrial complex from before the war. The machinery was all in working condition. There were a line of fences bordering the compound. But what drew her attention the most was the three large cylindrical buildings. They appeared to be a type of fuel for...well something she wasn't sure of. It was almost as if they were building war machines. But war machines were banned in Frieza law two ninety two, weren't they? Just as her mind asked the question, a large shuddering boom was heard echoing across the area. Nanaomi scouted the base to find a large hovering, almost Earthen like tank with smoke escaping its barrel. Upon farther inspection of the tank like object she realized what the fuel resource was, and why this was such a large undertaking. Nanaomi also realized Cador didn't tell her the whole truth. It appeared that Rota was attempting to mobilize Ki based weaponry and mobile artillery. With these types of weapons at Rota's disposal, Cador would easily lose the war. Nanaomi shook her head in protest to these thoughts. If anything, she needed to secure the blueprints or, at the very least, use her Ki knowledge to reproduce them as best as possible. If Rota was creating these, Ki-Tanks, than Cador needed to as well, as unsightly as that felt to think it was the truth. Nanaomi never considered using Ki as a weapon before. Well, she understood the fundamental property of Ki based attacks but never in the form of weapons such as guns or even tanks. A scale that large would require an intricate cooling, magnetic cycling, and purification process that would be decades beyond their current technology. However, Nanaomi deemed it possible if, by some off chance, Rota had got her hands on some old decommissioned wrist blasters from the Trade union. They used a similar technology but used the Ki in the wearer, not an outside source like a clip or shell to be loaded into it. Nanaomi shook her head once more upon realizing that this was all too much to think about right now. What she needed to do, was destroy this facility. And while she was at it, gather the blueprints to those tanks.

Nanaomi gave a soft sigh as she adjusted her clothing. The woman's right hand lifted to form a fist. In that instant, everyone took a step back in a prepared position, ready at the slightest movement to jump into the facility and wage war across it. With in Nanaomi's hand there started a small black energy orb. The orb grew almost triple in size before the purple tipped energy was fully visible. Her hand dropped to point towards the tank as a soft whisper escaped her lips that carried across the valley. "Big bang attack." The orb rocketed towards the tank at breakneck speeds until it finally collided with it. However, there appeared to be a sort of ablative Ki shielding. The blast could be seen morphing over the design of the tank before two small cylinder like objects began to heat up. In the next instant the tank exploded in a violent display of fire. Both orange-white Ki and black-purple ki flooded the explosion with a clash of colors before it settled down to just smoke. It was that explosion that the women warriors took to leaping from the staging area into the compound. And thus, the sortie had started. Nanaomi would watch with a soft smirk as small fights kicked up. Her warriors knew the rule, two fighters to every one. They needed to be decisive as they were surely out numbered. Nanaomi herself could see something was amiss. Something just, felt wrong to her. Almost as if there was something hiding, or even, someone hiding. It wasn't until the ground shook slightly that Nanaomi realized what it was. Her eyes scanned the compound to find it. She knew, it had to be true! There were tanks still active and able to fight. None of these warriors were strong enough to find the tanks themselves. Nanaomi had to, and that was her goal. Or so she though. After a whole minute she finally pinpointed two tanks with, a tall lanky women standing between them. Nanaomi's brow quirked at the display but it appeared as though she was a commander of sorts. Perhaps one of Rota's commanders? But, what struck her the most was that she could feel Ki from several people near that woman. It was more than just the tanks and her, no, there were four more people there.

As that thought crossed her mind, she could see the four other people seemingly appear from around the camp to stand next to the woman. So she had four elite soldiers, herself, and two tanks. This was bad. Nanaomi calculated the strength as best she could and put the four warriors as about Luxanna's strength. A soft sigh escaped her lips as she realized Luxanna was there. Nanaomi's voice would speak up as the commander and her stared at each other, seemingly preparing for a fight of the titans. "Luxanna, don't move. I can't guarantee your safety if you move. Just sit, sit and meditate." Nanaomi took a step forward before staring down at the commander. A soft smirk crossed Nanaomi's lips which quickly faded into a full fledged demonic grin from ear to ear. She was looking for a fight, and it appeared she got it. The woman would slowly raise into the sky as would the four elite warriors. There appeared to be three men and one woman, all seemingly a variety of powers and abilities. At least appeared that way. Like a well rounded team to fight against. Nanaomi would finally float to a height so far above the battlefield that none of her powers would affect it, at least she hoped that was the case. Nanaomi's body solidified Ki under her feet to allow her to stand in mid air. With this, she started to walk forward towards the group with her right hand resting upon the tsuka of her blade. She wouldn't say anything, instead, her steps became slower and slower until they finally halted several feet away from the group. It was a good old fashioned showdown almost. That was until three of them decided to bolt forward and charge at her. One came at her with incredible strength. Nanaomi lifted her right hand to stop the attack. It wasn't until the man got close that she could feel his strength. A last second decision allowed the woman to step to the left and avoid the punch that would have actually harmed her. 'Avoid his physical attacks.' Nanaomi thought to herself. Just as the man was crossing her path another man appeared in front of her with his hand facing towards her. It appeared he was about to launch a Ki attack. Nanaomi had to think fast which let her take a step to her right. This allowed her to elbow the man in front of her towards the ground while the Ki user was kicked in the side of the head with a round house kick. However, as she aimed the attack towards him the third man appeared taking the attack with ease. A large grin crossed his face as he chuckled softly. 'A strength user, a Ki user, and what is the biological equivalent of a tank. Alright, this isn't good. Nanaomi realized she needed to conserve her energy if she was going to fight the lanky woman below them. A grueling sigh escaped her lips as she would raise her right hand and face it towards the living tank like man. "Bang." was all she said as she made a flicking motion. In an instant, the man's eyes started to fade to a dark almost soulless color. In an instant, she had murdered this poor man.

The other two suddenly realized how strong this woman was. They started to stare at her with their eyes wide but it was too late. Their eyes as well started to fade to a lifeless color. Nanaomi, however, didn't notice the fourth speedy woman disappear from the ground and head straight for Luxanna. Of course, she wasn't given much time as the woman from below slowly rose to meet Nanaomi's gaze. "So, you are the one I am to fight. I will assume you are of equal strength to me." The woman smirked softly as she spoke in kind to the statement. "Aye, that's true. You are my opponent now. Tha' names Rikke'." Nanaomi smiled brightly as she set one foot closer to the woman, turning sideways in the process but still facing Rikke. "Lotus, daughter of General Lattus. A pleasure." The woman's eyes widened for a moment before they closed half way as if to mock Nanaomi. "Well, I guess we'll see if your as strong as your daddy was, eh?" Nanaomi's smile smirked brighter it seemed. "Yes, we shall." Was all she said before her right hand gripped the tsuka tightly, slowly sliding it out of it's sheath. Once she turned it the right way up, Nanaomi could feel the essence of battle course through her veins. She knew she wanted to do this. She knew she needed to fight and hopefully kill this woman. If anything, she needed a true kick in the pants to feel what life was like. Rikke moved forward slightly as the two women faced off. They appeared to be sizing each other up in a type of, wild west showdown. They waited to see who would move first and if they would get the drop on the other. It was anyone's game now as neither knew the extent of the other's powers. Nanaomi leaned in just slightly before she made the first move. Her body bolted forward as a punch was aimed directly at Rikke's face. As the punch collided Rikke's head turned as if Nanaomi landed a solid hit. However, after a moment the woman's head slowly turned back to face her as she spoke. "Your strength isn't up to snuff sweetie. Sorry." She said as a firm punch was planted onto Nanaomi's stomach. This sent her flying into the air, so much so, it actually forced her to spit out blood. Nanaomi gasped for air as her body was slowly racked with pain and pressure from the attack.

She wheezed heavily feeling her whole body wracked with the pain. It was astonishing. How could she not feel Rikke's power was so strong!? Her physical prowess dwarfed Nanaomi's by a long shot! She was lucky to be alive, let alone concious from that punch. She'd slowly start to fall towards the ground, Rikke's voice carrying across the area. "Done so soon sweetie? We were just getting acquainted though!" Nanaomi spat up more blood as she fell towards the ground, striking it with a thud. She felt so weak, barely able to move. Her body would need time to heal but there wasn't any time. She needed something, a miracle drug to restore her body. In that thought, a small petite woman seemingly appeared out of nowhere wearing a white nurse uniform. She'd gently slip Nanaomi a small green bean in her hand before disappearing again. Rikke had noticed this and aimed to destroy the nurse woman before she could escape but, the woman's speed was much to fast to keep up with. Rikke would shake her head and look down to see Nanaomi still laying there in a heap, almost lifeless. A scoff escaped her lips as she turned to face towards Luxanna. It was the moment Nanaomi needed to gather her remaining strength and eat this bean thing she was given. Almost the instant she chewed and swallowed it, her body repaired itself. It was fully back to normal, even better than, actually. Nanaomi smiled brightly and made a mental note to remember to ask Cador about those bean things later. A soft quiet sigh to herself would ensue before flying up behind Rikke. Nanaomi cleared her throat which startled Rikke. A backhand was sent sailing towards Nanaomi's face but she expected it now, and knew the strength the woman had. It wouldn't get the best of her a second time. Nanaomi took a step back before speaking up. "Sorry, but it appears I can not let you strike me. So I will have to take this to ranged attacks. I hope you are fine with this." Nanaomi's voice carried as she suddenly flew back several feet. A soft wink happened as the woman clasped her hands together. The smile growing brighter as she interlocked her fingers with her wrists pointing towards the sky.

The seam of her two palms clenched together started to glow a dark black-purple. Nanaomi's hands moved apart from each other slightly to reveal a black mass of energy with a purple outline. Nanaomi's hands would then suddenly pull apart quickly before allowing her arms to come to full length pointing in a tee shape. The energy that was formerly in her hands expanded to a full spear shape with arrowhead and all. Nanaomi chuckled softly as she grabbed the arrowhead spear and twirled it around several times before resting on pointing it towards Rikke. "Well, let us see how I fair against you now." Nanaomi's words were like audible stabs at Rikke. It was as if she was attempting to make her bleed with words alone. However words were not really her strong suit. But alas, she attempted it anyway. Nanaomi's body charged forth as she aimed to attack the woman with her spear. Rikke pushed herself backwards to keep inline with Nanaomi's movements. The best she could do right now was to avoid the spear. She would need to catch Nanaomi off guard if she wanted to land a hit. However that was proving to be more and more difficult as she was forced to stay on the defensive so far. Nanaomi's movements would, however, suddenly shift as she threw the spear at Rikke. Being close range it was difficult, but Rikke would side step as the spear grazed her clothing. "Ha, you lost your only trump card." Nanaomi smirked softly as her hand seemed to make small micro movements. Rikke was puzzled by this before suddenly ducking down to feel the spear whizz past her head. It appeared the Nanaomi was able to control the spear. With an amazing surprise that was, it didn't appear to catch Rikke off guard. Nanaomi would sigh and shake her head softly before throwing the spear once more. As the spear flew towards Rikke, she made minor corrections to adjust for the woman's movements. However, it would miss once more. This time the spear would strike a mountain a ways off. The resulting explosion leveled the face of the mountain with ease creating an extremely large crater inside of it.

Rikke was extremely glad that spear didn't hit her. It did appear Lotus had a trick up her sleeve as she wasn't too worried about missing her over and over again. Rikke could only imagine what ever nightmarish abilities the girl had. It was then she got hte shock of her life. Nanaomi pulled her hands up to waist level before shoving them in her pants pockets. Rikke quirked a brow a few times before looking at Nanaomi weirdly. This one, she couldn't figure out at all. It was beyond her. Of course that was before the odd sound. Rikke didn't have time to think about it before jumping to her left. The large beam speeding past her and colliding with the ground, causing a large explosion a short distance away. "Well, you dodged that too it seems. But no worry, I will finish you off with this." Nanaomi's voice echoed through the valley as she closed her eyes. Her right hand slid out of her pocket and pointed her palm towards Rikke. Her face contorted in concentration as a small light appeared with in the center of her palm. Finally, the light would explode into almost ten sparkles of light that would move to surround Rikke in a very wide sphere. The lights would then glow bright and burst into large orbs that would give off a deathly hum. Nanaomi's eyes opened as she gave a soft wink. The second she did, her hand clenched shut. In that instant, all of the orbs fired beams directed towards Rikke. They collided in the center of the sphere causing a massive explosion that sent Nanaomi flying back so far she almost struck the mountain behind her. A tough fight for sure, but she was getting close to out of tricks. She refused to dip any more into her bag of tricks before she needed them. It was best to keep some things hidden for a rainy day. Nanaomi would turn back to see Luxanna and how she was fairing. It was then she realized that a fourth person got through. The woman was about the same height as Luxanna but was a more light chocolate in complexion. What's more, the woman appeared to be extremely skilled in the snake style of fighting. Or at least a variant of it. Which was odd considering where they were. Nanaomi would toss that idea from her head as she gazed onwards to see the woman introduce herself. "Name's Jax." Was all she said before she sped forward towards Luxanna, taking a snake stance. In that moment, Jax's right hand reached out and aimed to strike Luxanna in the shoulder with all of her force. This movement allowed Nanaomi to really see the clothes she was wearing. It appeared to be a type of Chinese silken martial arts garb. Very elegant, stylish, and useful for fluid movements. As the thoughts drifted to it, Jax's movements seemed to follow Luxanna's movements exactly. It appeared they held the same speed but would it be enough?

Nanaomi would watch as Jax preformed something she didn't expect. She'd start a hand stand. This in itself wouldn't get her to dodge Luxanna's attack. But, the fact she also preformed a split which she then began to twirl around with, meant that Luxanna had to dodge, or get struck by a heel in the face. An odd way to defend against her but it was, interesting none the less. It was in that moment that Nanaomi realized she had unfinished business. She took her gaze from Luxanna seeing as she had it covered for now, and noticed the two tanks beginning to mobilize against the fighting force. "No." She said, as her hands began to glow with black energy which was tipped in purple light. Out of the blue, they appeared to be a full sized spear in each hand. With out hesitation, she used her precision aiming to strike both tanks in the, well, fuel tanks.

This would cause quite the explosion even piercing the ablative Ki shielding they had. Nanaomi quickly turned her attention back to Jax to see her charge up a Ki attack behind her back. What caught her off guard was that she aimed it to burst through her own shirt as a surprise attack directly at where Luxanna dodged to if she did. Nanaomi herself was quite impressed with that move, still unsure if she needed to help. Jax, however, had another idea in mind. "Heh, here to tour our junk rock? Please. Yer' nuttin' but a blue pussy in strange close. Look! You've even got a cat tail to prove it! Haha, such a waste of Saiyan blood." Jax said, her nerve beginning to become silvery and deadly along with her tongue.

Nanaomi was hesitant to do something just yet. Luxanna needed this, she was certain of this. Jax, slowly walked forward after having righted herself. "Heh, all talk and nothing else. Just like the brainless saiyan you are. Guess your more of a wimp than I gave ya' credit fer cutie. Oh well." The woman loomed over Luxanna as she would aim to kick her foot directly into Luxanna's burned back. The woman would attempt to kick her at least five times before using her heel to push the girl's face into the dirt with all her strength. Nanaomi, however, watched every movement of Luxanna to see if she'd get up. If she'd right the situation. But if she needed to, she'd step in. She just, hoped she didn't need to. It was during that thought that Jax would press down all of her might onto Luxanna's head as her right hand loomed over the girl's back. A dark red swirling ball started to form in her hand. The ball seemed to grow faster and faster as the sound it made seemed to be sucking in the very essence of the energy around it. "Hah, dun feel bad sweet'e, it's not 'erry day ya fight someone betta'n'ya. Just die knowin' nuhbody's gon' miss ya'." Jax cackled as the ball reached critical mass and was ready to fire. What would Luxanna do? Could she even get back from this? Nanaomi surely hoped so. No, she knew Luxanna could do this.

Jax smirked widely as it seemed Luxanna still had some kick in her. She'd knock the Ki blast away as it went hurdling into the sound of a mountain. It appeared that Luxanna attempted to kick JAx in the head. She'd laugh heavily as her free hand grabbed her ankle. "Ya' wanna flip pussy cat? THEN DO A FLIP!" She said as she used all of her might to twist on her left foot, using Luxanna's momentum to carry her most of the way before chipping in her own. And with that, she'd force Luxanna to smack into the ground. After letting go of the girl's ankle, Jax would run forward and aim to strike the blue menace in her chest. "Aw, ya' got a little kink in yer' panties there? Ya seem awfully blue, did ya' daddy hurt ya as a child?" Nanaomi rolled her eyes at Jax's comment. It seemed she was just grabbing at straws now. Jax, however, was fully aware she was more or less poking until she found the sweet spot. She was aiming to try and get Luxanna all worked up so she'd make a mistake. Nanaomi hoped she wouldn't be baited but, it was a sure possibility.

Jax was suddenly overtaken by Luxanna as the girl gripped her by the throat and threw her to the ground. She had powerful legs, that's for sure. Nanaomi watched, smirking slightly at how Luxanna was handling the situation. Jax, however, was less flamboyant about the situation. She struggled against the girl's weight, before finally giving up as she laughed. This laugh was, hearty. It was strong, it was, suddenly turning in to a hysterical laughter that seemed almost insane. "Ya' think yer' li'le show a' force got me? Dun' be silly sweetie. An' sure, ya' might not've asked far'it, but ya gotta take wha's due to ya'." Jax said as her body started to tremble slightly. Her body emitted an aura that started to engulf her body as energy leaked from it. The insane cackling reared from her mouth as she would easily toss Luxanna to the side. Jax's eyes disappearing into an abyss of white as her hair spiked upwards along with her golden aura. Nanaomi recognized this form as Giji, an interesting thing to note as few were able to achieve this alone. It meant this Jax girl was well on her way to becoming a Commander. Nanaomi took a step forward before stopping. She had to let this play out. If it worked, Luxanna might be able to take Giji form herself from this. She would allow Jax start to move forward and issue a barrage of attacks towards Luxanna, her speed increasing as her power started to reach it's full potential. "Now ya' blue li'le bi'ch, just, DIE!"
