I mean, I'd basically be jumping through hoops either way. Having to explain how my character not only loses all him powers, an entire reality of people and events he's interacted with, and his sudden change to whatever, seems like one big flaming hoop to jump through to me. I'd like to know integral logic behind that ruling. In any case, I think I'd start with a new character.
