- Devil Fruits are said to be the fruits of the Sea Devil and that the secret to their power is hidden in the Grand Line. Because encounters with them are rare (especially outside the Grand Line), a number of rumors about them have risen, making it difficult to tell whether some things are fact or fiction. The average person knows nothing or very little about what they are or what they do. Because of their power, if sold they can expect to reach well over Beli100,000,000 and Devil Fruit users themselves are sold at market prices as slaves. There are more than 100 types of Devil Fruit.
One running theme with Devil Fruits, however, is the fact that they taste unimaginably bad, to the point of making it seem like the user had taken poison. The Devil Fruit, when consumed, gives the consumer a power or special trait, which they will immediately become aware of; a person who has eaten a Devil Fruit and gained its powers is known as a Devil Fruit User. They come in different shapes and colors, and all Devil Fruits presumably have swirl marks or patterns on them of some kind. The only known exception is the Devil Fruit made by Vegapunk, which had ring patterns on it. There can be only one of each type of fruit at a time. Only one bite is needed for the user to gain the power of a Devil Fruit, after which the Devil Fruit becomes a simple, useless, disgusting fruit. Swallowing the fruit whole, as Buggy did, has the same effect, Peeling off the skin and eating it piece by piece, such as Kaku and Kalifa did, also works. After ingesting the fruit, the powers within affect the eater's lineage factor.
How can we get a Devil Fruit?:

- You can obtain a Devil Fruit during the creation of your character, but may not officially begin using their particular power until 10,000 power. This means that you ma exhibit the fundamentals of that said fruit, but have yet to accomplish creating any unique abilities with their said power.
Specific abilities will become available starting at 30,000 power, and stagger from there as your character as a whole both improves and learns the capabilities of their powers.
Sadly, Logia Type fruits are not available at creation, and will be randomly rolled to see if you can acquire this type of fruit.

If you are among those who obtains a Devil Fruit and consumes it for its power, you must go through a bit of a training course before you can unleash its full power. You may be wondering why that is since you just went through the trouble of getting it after a long and hard mission. Well, the reason is because there are many things you have to work hard for in the One Piece world. It isn't a difficult process as you may think. It just takes some effort. Now, moving on, I have detailed how you can work on training your Devil Fruit powers...
Rank D: You have recently ingested the fruit, or yet to begin exploring the capabilities of the power that you now possess. This means you have the absolute basic concept that the fruit is, being able to be a rubber man, taking on animal like aspects, or producing the element it bestowed upon you. -Basic fruit power, yet no abilities or release obtained, 10,000 'haki' and 250 WC, no boosts.
Rank C[Incomplete Powers]: At this point you can now make use of the power, and found a unique way to do so. You likely have a few unique 'abilities' with this, such as luffy with gatling gun, a hybrid zoan form, or perhaps even some 'cool' elemental attack with unique effects and a name to boot. [Requires 30,000 Haki, 1,500 WC, 3 abilities, +15 or x1.03 to all stats.]
Rank B [Semi-complete]: These are the people who most often have combat-related fruits, and have spent some time wandering about finding misadventure, or now are in the grand-line. They've begun to fully grasps the base understandings of their powers, and found ways to integrate them into their everyday lifestyle, or style of fighting in general. [Replaces incomplete, Requires 45,000 Haki, 2,000 WC to obtain. - Gives 3 additional abilities(6 total), and replaces incomplete. Grants +25 or x1.05 to all stats while maintaining use of their power]
Rank A [Complete]: The power has come to define the user in most senses of the terms. Chances are at this point, that the fruit you possess has likely become your combat-style in itself, or a hybrid of sorts. This is where you see people no only using its capabilities, but almost creating secondary concepts the fruit may not have been feasibly tethered to originally. Examples- luffies 'gears' , Doffy's 'bird-cage', Law's 'personality transplant'. [Requires 60,000 Haki, 2,500 WC to obtain. -Gives 4 additional abilities(10 total) as well as replacing previous releases. Grants +50 or x1.10 to all stats while maintaining.]
Rank SS [Awakened] : This is not for all users to obtain, as it is a true 'ascension' past the concept of the ability itself. These are devil fruits taken to a whole new level, and will be treated much like how hollow obtain 'segunda' . You get two chances to obtain this release, and those lucky enough to get perks of course. Requires 45,000 Haki to Acquire. Requires 2,000 WC to learn. Increases all stats by +20 or x1.06. Also gives two additional abilities specific to the release. Stacks on top of normal devil fruit release.

Bara Bara no Mi: Allows the user to split their body into separate pieces, which they can manipulate and levitate through the air. It also makes them immune to slashing attacks. Eaten by Buggy.
Sube Sube no Mi: Makes the user's skin extremely smooth and slippery, causing attacks, objects, and even excess body fat to harmlessly slide off them. Eaten by Alvida.

Mane Mane no Mi: Allows the user to transform into a physical lookalike of any person whose face they have touched. Eaten by Bentham.

Toge Toge no Mi: Allows the user to grow long, pointy spikes from their body that are strong enough to pierce through solid stone. Eaten by Zala.

Horo Horo no Mi: Allows the user to create and control ghosts with different abilities, such as inflicting feelings of despair on people whom they pass through, or exploding with great force. The user can also make their own ghost leave their body as a form of astral projection. Eaten by Perona.
Yomi Yomi no Mi: Allows the user's soul to return to the living world after dying, bringing the user back to life. The user can also make their returned soul temporarily leave their reanimated body and their soul exudes a freezing coldness that can be weaponized. Eaten by Brook.
Kage Kage no Mi: Allows the user to manifest and control shadows. They can animate and freely manipulate their own shadow, as well as steal and absorb other people's shadows, making the user bigger and stronger. Stolen shadows can also be implanted into corpses, reanimating them. Eaten by Gecko Moria.
Suke Suke no Mi: Allows the user to become invisible, as well as make anything they touch invisible. Eaten by Shiryu.
Nikyu Nikyu no Mi: Gives the user paw pads on their hands that can repel anything they touch. They can even repel intangible things like pain or memories out of a targets body and manifest it as a tangible paw-shaped bubble. Eaten by Bartholomew Kuma.
Jiki Jiki no Mi: Allows the user to manipulate magnetic forces. Eaten by Eustass Kid.
Ope Ope no Mi: Allows the user to manifest a large sphere of aura, inside which they can manipulate the fabric of space, allowing the user to teleport, telekinetically move things, cleave things without actually damaging them, reassemble things into various combinations, and generate high voltage energy. Shiro Shiro no Mi: Allows the user to become a literal miniature living fortress equipped with cannons, as well as letting them shrink people and objects who enter their body and house them inside. Eaten by Capone Bege.
Wara Wara no Mi: Allows the user to create and control straw. They can also create straw voodoo dolls, allowing the user to transfer the damage they take to the dolls and, by extension, the people connected to them. Eaten by Basil Hawkins.
Oto Oto no Mi: Allows the user to morph their body parts into musical instruments and weaponize the sound waves they create. Eaten by Scratchmen Apoo.
Mero Mero no Mi: Allows the user to turn people that feel attraction to them into stone statues. Eaten by Boa Hancock.

Gura Gura no Mi: Allows the user to create quakes and shockwaves. Considered to be the most powerful Paramecia. Eaten by Marshall D. Teach.
Kira Kira no Mi: Allows the user to transform their body into diamond. Eaten by Jozu.
Poke Poke no Mi: Gives the user a pocket on their body where they can store objects, including very large objects that are bigger that the pocket holes themselves. The user can pull these stored objects back out at will. Eaten by Blamenco.
Woshu Woshu no Mi: Allows the user to literally wash and fold a person as if they were laundry. It also makes the victim's heart cleaner. Eaten by Tsuru.
Fuwa Fuwa no Mi: Allows the user to fly, as well as giving them the power to make any non-living things they've touched levitate. Eaten by Shiki.
Deka Deka no Mi: Allows the user to greatly increase the size of their body. Eaten by Sanjuan Wolf.
Mato Mato no Mi: Allows the user to mark a person as their target by touching them so that any weapon thrown with that same hand will chase after the marked target. Eaten by Vander Decken IX.
Fuku Fuku no Mi: Allows the user to create clothing. Eaten by Kin'emon.
Hobi Hobi no Mi: Allows the user to turn people into subservient living toys, simultaneously erasing any memory of the victim from the minds of others. It also halts the user's aging. Eaten by Sugar.
Buki Buki no Mi: Allows the user to transform their body into any kind of weapon. Eaten by Baby 5.
Guru Guru no Mi: Allows the user to make any part of their body spin like a propeller. Eaten by Buffalo.
Beta Beta no Mi: Allows the user to create and control mucus. Eaten by Trebol.
Zushi Zushi no Mi: Allows the user to manipulate gravity. Eaten by Issho.
Bari Bari no Mi: Allows the user to create barriers by crossing their fingers. The barriers can also be shaped into constructs. However, the user is limited to only one barrier at a time. Eaten by Kurozumi Semimaru until his death and later eaten by Bartolomeo.
Nui Nui no Mi: Allows the user to stitch things together. It works on both objects and living things. Eaten by Leo.
Giro Giro no Mi: Allows the user to see through solid objects and over vast distances, as well as see into people's minds and memories. The user achieves this by forming a circle with their index finger and thumb and looking through it. Eaten by Viola.
Ato Ato no Mi: Allows the user to transform people and objects into abstract art, rendering them unable to function. Eaten by Giolla.
Jake Jake no Mi: Allows the user to transform into a whole-body jacket and control the body of the person wearing them. While being worn, the user can take advantage of both their own physical abilities and those of the person wearing them. Eaten by Kelly Funk.
Pamu Pamu no Mi: Allows the user to expand and rupture their body, as well as expand and rupture any inorganic object they touch. Eaten by Gladius.
Sui Sui no Mi: Allows the user to swim freely through solid ground and walls. Eaten by Senor Pink.
Ton Ton no Mi: Allows the user to drastically increase their body weight, by as much as thousands of metric tons. Eaten by Machvise.

Numa Numa no Mi: Allows the user to create, control, and transform into mud. The user is a "bottomless swamp", granting them an infinite amount of space inside their elemental body. The mud can also take on the properties of quicksand. Eaten by Caribou.
Gasu Gasu no Mi: Allows the user to create, control, and transform into gas. Eaten by Caesar Clown.
Yuki Yuki no Mi: Allows the user to create, control, and transform into snow. Currently Open.
