I worked closely with Aria in the amendment and addition of content to this particular category. While it does look daunting at first glance, one does not need to actually remember the guidelines. You merely need to use it as a guide during combat for whatever specific combinations you will come across.

It provides additional dynamics to combat that will take some weight away from the old 'My number is bigger then your number'.

Similarly to the elements, I worked closely with Koga in getting this set up so I have no particular comments. A lot of the previous issues that were last discussed with adding an afterlife have been mitigated; There is also the added appeal of being able to retain ones character as opposed to creating a brand new one.

Now, this particular system was created a long, long time ago by a member of staff who is no longer with us. The main issue that was with it originally was the lack of a use for a monetary system as well as the bias towards specific verses in the conversion rates. I believe if we are going to have a monetary system there should be a generic unified currency.

Having to keep track of a variety of different currencies, as well as who would accept what in certain circumstances, adds an added level of complexity that is really not needed. The over all concept is a decent idea and it could spawn systems from it that could change how the RP works.

However, if such a thing was to be added it would need to be modified significantly from its current form and engineered in a more complete way.

I discussed my views and opinions with Tenkai on this. More or less what we discussed has been done and I see no issues with it.

I agree with Tenkai on it being a generic unified currency. There is a huge lack of things to use money on. Which is a whole different beast all together. I'm not against it more or less. Just needs a lot of work and an actual use.

Okay, so overall I approve of the element system. It's really great, and I agree with it's implementation. Personally the concept gives me a few ideas that I may even like to suggest we incorporate into that system at a later date. The only suggestion I have is that you clearly specify the combo elements that the basic ones produce so that if someone chooses abilities along that elemental type they will know for sure which two create it.

Finally, I have one question if you have a fire element power and you turn the earth below into lava and have it explode is it considered solely fire element or does it create a lava element attack even though they are purely fire element?

From what I have read about it, it's a great thing to add for the site. I also agree with this even if the afterlife has very little to offer it will be great to save a character that you enjoy if that character dies.

But, since it was mentioned in the suggestion I do have to ask about the different lifestyles and training that you can experience in each location. Is there anything particular in mind for this?

The concept of a monetary system was bound to come from the moment bounties were implemented. Although plenty of people have bounties, if you follow the path of the Marines working for the world Government your only way to associate is to hunt those with bounties and earn the reward.

There are near endless things to create with this combination of universes, and it would be easy to make a shop for money to be spent at given enough time to sort through it properly. For the time being, without having built the uses for it there wouldn't be a need to rush this system out. I'm not against it, but at this current time the concept as a whole wouldn't have much meaning until at least one proper shop was created for items.

And since it was mentioned in passing I will go ahead and say that a universal quest system to reach out to all universes and play a unifying roll in bringing RP'ers together and giving a story direction at times would be ideal. Most of these universes have a quest/universe system in some way naturally so it would be unifying them. It would be one way to put a monetary system to good use as well has offering new ways to point people towards learning certain special techniques or completing special tasks. But both the Monetary system and a Quest system will take a lot of time and effort.

I am actually a huge fan of this idea. Particularly because it isn't so cut and dry in that water will always beat fire. Theres just an advantage. There is incentive to having multiple elemental attacks and defenses in a character's arsenal, while not setting a pure elemental user back in any way. Theres enough room to let people do what they want regardless, while allowing anyone who wants to maximize their combat potential against an opponent to choose what element to fight with, if they have choices. A ball of fire and a ball of lightning doesnt feel like its the same only just a different color.

This one i have more questions about, like how a human from the bleach universe interacts with this afterlife. And whether any human race can turn hollow or be purified and sent to soul society. It would be interesting if the humans were more connected, and through death, had the ability to traverse these difference concepts. Say a OP pirate dies, and they can choose to run Snake Way, or maybe a shinigami or hollow comes along either in character or just as an NPC. In these stories, death is rarely the end. And allowing someone to choose to be resurrected into their same body, or change their form forever and become a spiritual being regardless of their starting human "race" seems like it would fit along with these concepts. I think this would blur the line between the animes, and i dont see that as a bad thing.

Theres already a lot of ideas for what can be bought with money, like training rooms or weighted clothing, but there can be a lot that can be done with this. Say in a tournament, you want to fix the rounds and make bets rather than fight. You could still "win" without having yo hurt yourself or anyone else. Thats for very specific characters, but its something that isnt exactly possible as it stands. Theres a tournament going on right now, and with a recognized money system, a devious enough character with access to enough funding could rig the round he/she has to fight in, allowing them certain unfair advantages or for a moment when the judges turn their attention away from a cheat. I like the universal money system because of possibilities like this. Money can accomplish just as much as magic or might. Or maybe you want that cool meito sword and you pay the guardian off rather than fight him for it.
