Team Gama (Shinobi Group)

Biography:
Born into the Nara Clan about three years after Shikamaru was born, Shikahara was the youngest of his siblings. Having an older brother and sister, he was the most looked after since his siblings were already graduated from the academy or were attending it by the time he was born. Being born with an IQ of over 200 unlike his siblings, he was considered to be on par with the Head and Heir to the clan at the time.

When he was about to turn 10, his older brother was killed while on a mission to the land of waves. It was unknown how he died, many suspected poison. This led Shikahara to learn to think before he acted so that he wouldn't end up like his brother. His sister would meet a similar fate when he was 12, she was captured by the enemy and killed right in front of her teammates just days before Shikahara was set to graduate from the Academy.

Since the deaths of both his siblings Shikahara had a lot to prove to his clan. His end of the family was starting to get shunned out by the rest of the clan for the incompetence while on missions. Even though he was not paired in a Ino-Shika-Cho trio, Shikahara managed to figure out ways to work with his teammates in similar manners. While on a mission to the Land of Snow, he was to guard an important business man there to speak with the leader of the land. It was during this mission he began to regain favor from the clan as he managed to fend off an entire ambush on his own just a strategy and traps that he thought of while they were traveling. It wasn't until after the disappearance of the famous shinobi of the lands vanished that Shikahara began to step up in his clan.

Not long after the disappearance of the shinobi, Shikahara was made Head of his clan and was given the chance to be a contestant to be the 8th Hokage. However after the deaths of two candidates, he stepped down and began to give his favor towards Koga Senju and even joined his team in order to protect the Hidden Leaf.

Appearance:
Shikahara, much like those of his clan, has narrow brown eyes and a typical expression suggesting he is either bored or irritated. He has shoulder length black hair tied in a spiky ponytail. Standing at about 5'7'' and weighing about 125 pounds, Shikahara doesn't look much different from his more famous clansman. He wears the standard Konoha-nin outfit, the only customisations being green-lined mesh armour on his wrists and ankles and the plate of his forehead protector sewn into his left sleeve.

When off duty he wears, a light-coloured kimono and a haori with the clan's symbol emblazoned on the back.
