The day the Angels fell. Enter: Nanaomi & Luxanna!

Nanaomi heard the wining, incessant and somewhat burning. She'd finally look over to see Luxanna had pawed at a single piece of paper. Upon further inspection she noticed a name, Luxanna. And the rest of the information was a vast breakdown of her deoxyribonucleic acid. It was astonishing, and even more so when she read what they focused on. It appeared there was a feline natured mutation in Luxanna's bloodline due to an extra source known to come from Frieza planet nine, one, eight, seven, two, two, six. It was a largely blue planet. She didn't make the connection before but, after seeing that it made tons of sense.

"Whoa, alright. So, they stimulated the replication of specimen two six seven, uh, the Feline DNA. After stimulation they altered the coding slightly, decreasing the recessive nature of the mutation. They then stimulated your RNA to rewrite your DNA with the altered code. Remarkable." She said as her eyes were glued to the page and taking in all of this information. It was then she noticed a major flaw with her plan. A soft sigh escaped her lips as she then read the finer print. She'd slowly set down the paper and nod to herself before speaking. "I can try and fix this. But...there's a cost." She said, as she started to cart herself around the lab grabbing the supplies she needed to make the mojo juice. "I'll need your consent to try of course. But the cost is rather great. There's, a chance that I can't reverse everything. It seems they re-sequenced your RNA to prevent degeneration which means, it's difficult if not impossible to reverse all of the effects. I don't know what will actually get altered. And it will probably be painful."

Nanaomi tweaked and tinkered with the serum before it was finally done. It was, oddly enough, a clear liquid that seemed goopy almost. A soft sigh escaped her lips as she slowly walked over to Luxanna. "Alright, just one injection is all it needs. I expanded upon their reconstruction and made it more efficient. Are you ready?" She asked, looking at Luxanna with saddened eyes. As she would answer, Nanaomi would begin by injecting the girl with the serum in the, er, arm. She'd take a soft sigh of relief before sitting in the chair. Her hands beginning to tinker with the wrist and leg shackles still on her. As the serum began it's work, she would focus on removing these irons since they were slightly hindering her success. However, she seemed disinclined to actually remove the neck collar, for reasons she seemed unwilling to share.

Nanaomi heard the whining and whimpering, slightly disappointed she couldn't do anything. The hours flew by and they waited to see if any more changes were to occur. But it seemed none did. She'd sigh softly and kick the desk in anger, disgruntled by the fact the serum basically did nothing. She tried, and she failed. She failed miserably. Her aura started to flicker as bio-organic lightning ignited here and there across her body. Out of nowhere she punched the desk full force causing it to cave slightly. She was rather upset, but, this is what it came to. A soft sigh escaped her lips before she'd speak out, the last words she'd say for a while. "Sanimasen, Luxanna-chan." She'd then hobble over to rummage around and grab any clothes she could find. Her tattered slave robe was less barely covering anything plus it was drenched in liquid making her even colder. After finding a pair of tights and a loose fitting T-shirt, she'd slip them on and stretched slightly. Though, as she did she could feel the pain of stretching newly healed muscles in her stomach area. This caused her great pain and she gasped at the surging feeling rising from the wound. After taking a moment to calm down, she'd start to walk out and scour what was left of the castle in an attempt to find, well, anything and everything of use.

Nanaomi stayed silent, the repeated begging and crying offering no solace in the trying times. Instead, she'd simply sit down and hold Luxanna for a little while, attempting to comfort her by gently petting her head. She'd do the only thing she knew might help, and began to hum that Saiyan lullaby her mom had taught her. The soft gentle humming echoing through the lightly battered lab. Her voice carrying across the compound like a siren's call to weary sailors. From this moment forward she'd taken a vow. At least for now, to cease speaking unless it was absolutely necessary. After time went on, and Luxanna was feeling well enough to move, Nanaomi would stand up and motion for the Kitsu to follow her. Her mind was set on scouring the castle for any and all information she could gather. Perhaps there would be something, anything, that would be able to lead her to find a cure for Luxanna at some point. Anything could be possible. Anything at all. Right?

Nanaomi seemed to not find all that much information left. however, she found some small information about creatures from another dimension. At first, it seemed outlandish. But, in fact she saw that they originated from a tear in their dimension near the crash site of Nanaomi and Luxanna's pods. This set off a red flag that, perhaps, something came through that odd black hole that Cador told her she made. Her heart sank when she realized she could have opened the way for a large invasion. Nanaomi's shook her head before packing what information she could carry with her away regarding these creatures and the weaponized Kai technology. After this, they started their long trek back towards the camp. Though, she wasn't exactly sure where to go so more or less, Nanaomi simply chose a direction and started heading in it, hoping to find some familiar land mark.
