8 Gates Update
First, allow me to apologize for how sloppy this all will be. Just kind of getting my thoughts on paper, so to speak.
Above is the current state of the Eight Gates (minus the techniques that can become available which I will ignore for the point of this suggestion.
Another factor to recall (that will need adjustment for this) is when choosing to make a Naruto Human that they choose two of the following options: 2 Elements | Genjutsu | Medical Skills | Sealing Jutsu. This suggestion requires the addition of "Taijutsu" which, if selected, will allow the character to have access to gates 2 - 8 which will take up 1 or 2 technique slots
Gate 1 - Requires Shinobi Race Group + 500 WC to Learn
Provides + 5 to Strengh and Speed
Drawback - After closing the gate, Stamina Strength and Speed drop by 10 for x (posts/days/whatever)
Gate 2 - Requires Taijutsu Skill and Gate 1, + 750 WC to Learn
Provides + 7 to Strength and Speed
Drawback - After closing the gate, Stamina, Strength and Speed drop by 14 for x (posts/days/whatever)
Gate 3 - Gate 2, 10 Stamina + 1,000 WC to Learn | Chuunin
Provides + 10 to Strength and Speed | +1 to Pain Tolerance
Drawback - After closing the gate, Stamina, Strength and Speed drop by 20 for x (posts/days/whatever)
Gate 4 - Gate 3, 20 Stamina + 1,250 WC to Learn
Provides + 14 to Strength and Speed
Drawback - After closing the gate, Stamina Strength and Speed drop by 28 for x (posts/days/whatever)
Gate 5 - Gate 4, 40 Stamina + 1,500 WC
Provides + 19 to Strength and Speed

A few additional notes
- Bonuses are not cumulative
- Activating a Gate will prevent the user from using Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, Fuinjutsu, Summoning Jutsu, or activate Senjutsu while active. The same jutsu limitation exists for (2*The Gate Level) posts after closing the gate.
- Post Duration | After playing with some calculations I decided that post duration = Highest Gate Achieved*2. Achieving Gate 4 will provide a Duration Limit of 8 for Gate Usage. Now, each gate drains at a rate of Gate Level Active. Having 8 Gates learned provides a 16 post limit, but Gate 4 drains at a rate of 4 per post. If after gate calculation you have 3 Limit Points left but are in Gate 5 the options are: Allow it and conclude the gate or Pull the stat benefits to the highest level available (IE stats would drop to Gate 3) but still retain the drawback of the 5th gate.
- Once a Gate is opened, it must remain as such. The only way to close a gate, is to close all of the gates.
- Drawback Duration | I considered doing 2 posts per gate level (to match the jutsu limitation to allow natural chakra recovery) + 500 WC per gate level dedicated to recovery afterwards for the body. *Medical Jutsu or other Healing methods may accelerate the healing process IE, Medical Jutsu from another playey will cut the WC requirement of the Gate user in half.
This concludes my suggestion.

- The Eight Gates are eight specific tenketsu on a person's Chakra Pathway System which limit the overall flow of chakra within a person's body. The basis for the idea of the chakra gates comes from the body's limits on the functions within it. This makes the body much weaker, but it keeps the body from expiring too soon. By undergoing intense training, one can learn how to open these gates allowing the user to surpass their own physical limits at the cost of extreme damage to their own body.
How do we learn this?:
At the start for Gates 1-3 you can learn this with a strength stat of 40. For you to learn Gate 1 its 500wc and learning Dancing Leaf Shadow and the Primary Lotus. Then moving up to the Second gate it will be 150wc with no special techniques to master either. The final Gate you can use at this level is Gate 3 for 250wc and learn the Hidden Lotus as well.
The next set of Gates to learn will be set for the strength stat of 100. For learning Gate 4 you must do 300wc with no special technique. Next is Gate 5, you must complete 350wc to master it however no special techniques are learned. Finally the last Gate of this tier, Gate 6, you must complete 400wc to master it and learn Asakujaku.
The last 2 will be completed later.
Gates Listing:
1. The Gate of Opening, located in the brain, removes the restraints of the brain on the muscles so 100% of the user's strength can be used whereas normally, a person can only use 20% of their muscles' strength to keep them from disintegrating. Unlocking this gate allows the user to use the Front Lotus.
2. The Gate of Healing, located in the brain, forcibly increases the user's physical strength and temporarily re-energises the body.
3. The Gate of Life, located on the spinal cord, allows the user to use the Reverse Lotus. The increased blood flow turns the skin red.
4. The Gate of Pain, located on the spinal cord, increases the user's speed and power. May cause muscle tissue to tear on use.
5. The Gate of Limit, located in the abdomen, further increases the user's speed and power.
6. The Gate of View, located in the stomach, increases the user's speed and power. Opening of this gate releases such enormous amounts of energy that it can cause nearby water bodies to form a vortex around the user. Once opened, capable users can perform the Morning Peacock.
7. The Gate of Wonder, located below the stomach, further increases the user's speed and power. Only after this gate is activated can a capable user perform the Daytime Tiger. Those who open this gate will secrete glowing green — blue in the anime — sweat from every inch of their body which immediately evaporates from their own heat energy, creating an aura which people mistake as a chakra coating. Unfortunately, the side effects of opening the gate are that the user's muscle fibres are ripped to shreds, causing intense pain if anything or anyone touches them.
8. The Gate of Death, located at the heart, requires the user to stab their chest with their thumb to direct the chakra to the tenketsu. Once opened, the user will enter what's known as the Eight Gates Released Formation. Opening this gate will cause the user's blood to emanate a flaming aura of red steam, the so-called Steam of Blood from all pores of their body, hair, and eyebrows. Releasing this gate uses up all of the body's energy while making the heart pump at maximum power. Exceeding the power of every other gate, the user is temporarily granted approximately a hundred times their normal power, far beyond that of the five Kage. Once activated, those who are capable can perform the Evening Elephant and the Night Guy. The side effect of opening this gate is that it comes at the expense of the user's life, causing the user to crumble to ash after their chakra runs out, having virtually cooked themselves from the inside-out. This is unlike opening the other gates, which simply injure or damage the body.
