Home at last: The General's Daughter returns!

Nanaomi watched as Luxanna propelled herself with a Ki blast. Such a clever move. In that moment, Luxanna struck Rikke as if slow motion. The punch started to push Rikke down towards the ground farther and farther until the ground itself gave way causing a large crater in the ground. Rikke herself was pushed into the crater even farther and unable to move. In that instant that she went unconscious the world seemed to fade back to normality. As it did, Nanaomi shifted back into existence with a few claps from her hands. "Congratulations Luxanna. You did it." She said warmly. And in that instant of speaking everything returned to the moment it was when they had just arrived. There was no Rikke, there was no crater, and Luxanna was also not broken nearly to death. A soft chuckle escaped her lips as she spoke out softly.

"You have true Saiyan blood in you. That's good. Just because you fight a defensive war, doesn't mean you can slack off. It means you need to work even harder. You need to focus, and double your efforts." Nanaomi said as she started scratching the back of her head while trying to think of what to try next. "Well, I suppose now we can fight each other if you like. I can lower my abilities to meet yours easily. It's a gift we Saiyans have. Saiyans have the natural ability to adjust their power levels at will. Like this." She said as her power level suddenly tanked to that of a normal human's fighting ability. A soft laugh escaped the woman's lips as her power then skyrocketed outwards to her full strength before slowly returning to the resting state she held.

Nanaomi finally lowered her power to Luxanna's level. Her eyes closing for a moment as she allowed her body to relax. The woman entered into her basic combat stance. Well, to some it didn't appear like a stance at all. Her body shifted so that it was facing to the left. This put her right shoulder facing Luxanna. With that, Nanaomi's left arm reached up behind her and rested in the small of her back. Her feet were somewhat close together.

This put he right foot facing towards Luxanna with her left facing the same direction as her body. She stared at the girl as the woman's right hand lifted up to about shoulder height and pointed towards the girl with her palm facing diagonally down towards her. The last piece of her stance was to curl her fingers inwards slightly, giving the impression of bird's claw or talons. This was, Nanaomi's signature melee stance. With this, she stayed stationary, ready to combat Luxanna head on.

Nanaomi's body stayed as still as a statue. Her body seemingly not even breathing. Was she even alive? The only significant movement that showed she was even alive was the fact that her right hand slowly out stretched, dipping downwards a slight bit. In that moment her hand would flip a full three sixty and become Luxanna to come at her. Nanaomi was trained in quite a few martial arts. Taking those lessons, she had started to create her own mix which suited her style. All she really needed to do to win at hand to hand combat was to match if not surpass her opponent's speed. That was all it took for this woman. Not only that, but she also held a significant advantage being able to use a sword. The woman's mind was ablaze with possible moves Luxanna could preform. Taking into account that the girl was less experienced than Luxanna, it would be acceptable to assume she couldn't hold a torch to Nanaomi's martial prowess.

But she was always happy to be proven wrong in things like this. It meant she would be able to combat Luxanna with grace, intelligence, and a good heaping bag of actual trying. As her thoughts were swirling with these ideas and discussions Nanaomi noticed something out of the corner of her eye. She wouldn't take her eyes off of the girl, however, she was obviously distracted slightly. Perhaps enough to get a shot in? As she shuffled slightly, her eyes started to turn towards her left, this left her left wide open as she was distracted. Nanaomi stared as best she could with out moving her head, attempting to give the impression she was paying attention to the girl but in fact, she was starting to become enveloped by a silhouette she saw in the distance near the far treeline that surrounded this enormous field. As she started to gaze at the figure it was starting to unsettle her. She could feel a coldness that seemed only to be embraced by a warm liquid like feeling around it. The thoughts swirled in her head trying to figure out what it was. However, once she took her eyes off of it, the figure and the feeling would disappear. But not before a smell of, iron? No, perhaps blood? Tipped the air for an instant. However only Nanaomi would smell or see the figure.

Nanaomi's peripheral vision caught Luxanna's movements. In an elegant swift move the woman would pivot just as the attack rolled in. As Luxanna was still moving forward due to the momentum, Nanaomi would grab hold of the girl's wrist with her pointer finger and thumb. When the move was finished it would be Nanaomi's right hand holding Luxanna's wrist with the woman's back towards the girl. From there Nanaomi would push forward slightly, then pull back slightly while talking, forcing Luxanna, who should have been off balance by being stopped mid movement, move completely at Nanaomi's subtle movements. "Iaikido focuses around using the opponent's movements against themselves. Why fight your opponent when you can simply follow their lead?" She said as her hand would push forward as her right foot slid back slightly. If this worked it would end with Luxanna on the ground.

Nanaomi would then walk back a few feet and enter into her stance once more. This time her full focus was on Luxanna. With her full attention on the girl she could spend her time actually analyzing every minute muscle movements. Well, mostly thanks to the fact that there were no distractions. It was just Nanaomi and Luxanna, sparring to try and get the girl more experience in the field against a tougher opponent.

Nanaomi watched carefully as Luxanna bolted forward. She could see, just before the Ki blast was fired that her feet seemed to be placed in an awkward position. In fact, it looked similar to a spring board or somersault type of action. Nanaomi took this cue and analyzed the fighting history of the girl in an instant. This, gave her the best probably outcome, behind the target. Now that Nanaomi had an idea where Luxanna might be headed she'd only need to deal with the Ki blast. After slight smirk which was obscured by the Ki attack, Nanaomi would shift her stance and enter into a Tai Chi like stance. As she did, her hands reached forward, encircling around the blast. She would then seemingly dance with the ball for a mere moment before her body shifted and the ki blast would be sent directly back at Luxanna, who was now point black in front of it since she decided to try and go behind Nanaomi.

In this moment, Nanaomi would speak up with her soft warming tone. "Tai Chi is about balance of Ki, Mind, and bodily strength. When one combines all three of these, you can accomplish amazing feats." She said as the woman re-entered her previous stance only to face Luxanna once more.
